After a day at Snafalles National Park followed by the South Coast, the time had come for the final day in Iceland. The name of this tour was Hot Golden Circle, the most popular tour in Iceland.
The first destination of the trip was Gulfoss Waterfall. On the way to the waterfall, there was a viewpoint.
Then we reached the waterfall. On its own, it is a spectacular waterfall. But after two days of wonderment, I almost started to take for granted the aesthetic beauty in front of my eyes.

From here, it was on to a geysir. It is amazing to think people travel to Yellowstone National park to see a geysir, but here one happens to be in relatively close proximity to a majestic waterfall. Such is the naturescape of Iceland.

Finally, the tour ended at a lagoon. I was not in the mood to carry wet clothes around for days, so I passed. However, there was a fish and chips food truck just in front, which I could not pass by. The taste was simply delectable. After four memorable days in Iceland, it was off to Sweden.
