Innsbruck, a city I had longed to visit due its spectacular scenery. Suffice to say, visually it lived up to the hype. Just look at this.
It was a 10 minute walk to my hotel, the quirky NALA Hotel.
Then I headed to the city center. Luckily the sky began to clear up, exposing an other-worldly view of snowcapped mountains: simply breathtaking.
I continued to saunter around the city.
Just like that, the clouds returned.
That wrapped up my first day in Innsbruck. Visually, it is the most stunning city I have ever visited. The next day would be my last chance to see a mountain after failing in Switzerland.
