After touring Fallingwater, it was for lunch. The borough of Ohiopyle was the nearest place with restaurants. More importantly, it is the home of Ohiopyle State Park.
The bridge in the below pictures is actually part of a bike trail. From here, one can bike all the way to Washington DC.

The view from the bridge is quite nice also.

Near the visitor center, there is a stunning waterfall. Fittingly, there are white water raft tours available for those who are interested.

During my research into Fallingwater, I read that there is another Frank Lloyd Wright home nearby, by the name of Kentuck Knob. The major difference is that this home is privately owned, though the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation has made efforts to purchase it.
As a result of it being privately owned, photography was limited to the outside only. Unfortunate, because the inside was interesting. But due to its small size, the tour was more story telling than anything. To be fair, Fallingwater was storytelling also, but the home is much larger.

After viewing the house, there is a trail that goes back to the parking lot, with one particularly scenic viewpoint.

One last picture for the road.

Finally, it was time to head back to Pittsburgh. But there was a waterfall nearby that I couldn’t help but photograph.

I had one day left in Pittsburgh before heading home.
